       一、需要具備什么樣的條件才有資格申請OBU學(xué)位？

       1.注冊過這個學(xué)位（可以在My ACCA中查看此學(xué)位的狀態(tài)是否為opted-in）

       2.通過前九門考試F7,F8,F9不可以免考

       3.在通過F7,F8,F9之前提交并通過英語成績證明

       4.完成道德模塊測試Professional Ethics module

       二、英語成績證明如何提交？

       在2014年6月及之前通過的F4考試可以直接當(dāng)做英語證明，無需另外提交；

       在2014年12月及之后通過F4考試需另外提交英語成績證明，如大學(xué)英語六級，雅思，托福等（需要翻譯后加蓋公章）

       三、提交的論文包括哪些東西？

       A.7500字Research Report(RR)；

       B.2000字Skills and Learning Statement(SLS)（包括15分鐘Presentation on the project to your project mentor，需提交PPT）；

       這兩個部分要全部都通過才可以拿到學(xué)位，如哪個部分沒過，下次只提交那個部分就好，每個學(xué)員共有3次提交機會，但每次都需繳納評審費。學(xué)員需要找一名導(dǎo)師來輔導(dǎo)論文寫作，并進行3次面談（每次30分鐘，第三次做15分鐘presentation)。目前全球論文通過率只有50%。

       Research and analysis report（RR）：

       它共有20個題目可以選擇，題目內(nèi)容包羅萬象，涉及很多內(nèi)容。以第8個題目為例：需要分析一個公司最近3年的financial and business performance.

       Skills and learning statement（SLS）:

       它要回答四個問題：怎樣跟到時見三次面的？論文的研究目標(biāo)如何達到的？怎么跟導(dǎo)師溝通的？論文的寫作對你的學(xué)習(xí)和工作有多大幫助？這個SLS只有過和不過。決定這個SLS是否通過的方面有：語言，溝通，是否通過這個論文寫作有收獲和感悟，IT技術(shù)使用（PPT）等方面。

       四、論文選題范圍

       通過ACCA前9門的學(xué)員都有資格申請ACCA-OBU榮譽學(xué)士學(xué)位，論文題目可以在以下范圍內(nèi)選擇，其他題目需另行申請。

       1)An analysis and evaluation of an organisation?s budgetary control system and its links with performance management and decision making.

       2)An evaluation of how the introduction of a new technology can assist an organisation in achieving its business objectives.

       3)An assessment of the potential impact of an aspect of impending legislation on the operations and financial position of an organisation.

       4)A review of the business management and accounting issues of environmental costs of an organisation.

       5)An evaluation of the use of short term and long term Islamic financial instruments and their impact on the financial statements of an organisation.

       6)A critical review of key factors or indicators in the motivation of employees in an organisation.

       7)A critical evaluation of the restructuring of an organisation?s operational activities and the effect on the organisation?s financial performance.

       8)An analysis and evaluation of the business and financial performance of an organisation over a three year period.

       9)A critical evaluation of the planning and implementation of an information system in an organisation.

       10)A review of the effectiveness of the use of costing techniques within an organisation.

       11)An investigation into the financial and operational costs and benefits of the internal audit/internal review activities within an organisation.

       12)An investigation into the possible effects of a proposed accounting standard on the financial statements and business activities of an organisation.

       13)An evaluation of the contribution made by human resource activities to the attainment of business and financial objectives.

       14)An appraisal of the business and financial objectives of a strategic investment decision made by an organisation and its impact on key stakeholders.

       15)An analysis and evaluation of the management of an organisation?s working capital over a three year period and its impact on the organisation?s funding strategies.

       16)A critical evaluation of the financial and operational risk management within an organisation.

       17)An assessment of the quality of the corporate governance within an organisation and the impact on an organisation?s key stakeholders.

       18)A review of the marketing strategy of an organisation and its effectiveness.

       19)An analysis and evaluation of the financial and operational consequences of a merger between two organisations or of the acquisition of one organisation by another.

       五、學(xué)位等級評定

       論文（RR）通過共有A，B，或C三個分?jǐn)?shù)，論文的分?jǐn)?shù)和該學(xué)員ACCA前九門平均成績綜合起來可確定該生學(xué)位的級別（詳見具體評定圖）。牛津布魯克斯大學(xué)會計本科學(xué)位共有：First class,Upper second class,Lower second class,Third class等4個級別。決定這個RR是否通過的方面有：語言，溝通，分析是否深入，IT技術(shù)使用，參考資料使用及格式等方面。

       六、論文如何提交

       通過網(wǎng)上提交的方式上傳，一年有兩次提交的機會，分別在五月和十一月。

       七、學(xué)生寫論文的主要問題

       1.對國外論文格式要求不了解。多數(shù)同學(xué)都是第一次寫英文論文，甚至第一次寫論文，并不了解它的格式和要求。國外論文除了需要評審內(nèi)容外，論文的格式包括參考文獻（reference)的使用和格式也是非常重要的評審標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。這種畢業(yè)論文不同于平時我們考試時的essay,它需要大量收集信息，并引用到文章中去。這部分也是導(dǎo)師需要給與更多指導(dǎo)的地方。

       2.英語語言問題。雖然英語對于我們不是母語，評審老師也不會用英語為母語的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)來要求學(xué)員，但至少語言需要通順邏輯性強，結(jié)構(gòu)清晰。很多同學(xué)的語言顯然達不到這個要求，需要導(dǎo)師在語言上給與指導(dǎo)。

       3.專業(yè)知識不熟悉。這篇畢業(yè)論文內(nèi)容上需要結(jié)合ACCA很多課程的知識點，比如：F7，F(xiàn)9，P3等并把它應(yīng)用到案例中去。很顯然，如果ACCA課程的知識只是了解一知半解是不能應(yīng)用到案例中去的。所以學(xué)員應(yīng)復(fù)習(xí)一下過去學(xué)過的知識點，做到能熟練應(yīng)用。

       4.時間管理有問題。這是個本科的畢業(yè)論文，需要花費很長時間準(zhǔn)備及寫作，所用時間因人而異，有的一兩個月，有的半年甚至一年。因為每個學(xué)員的語言，專業(yè)，工作經(jīng)驗不同，所使用的時間是不同的。建議學(xué)員要提前準(zhǔn)備，而且論文的質(zhì)量和所花費時間一定是成正比的。有的學(xué)員英語基礎(chǔ)不好而且沒有工作經(jīng)驗，如果花費足夠時間加上導(dǎo)師的輔導(dǎo)也可以取得不錯的成績。對于時間管理有問題的學(xué)員，導(dǎo)師應(yīng)多提醒及促使他們在提交時間內(nèi)完成任務(wù)。

       八、導(dǎo)師怎么才能輔導(dǎo)學(xué)員通過論文

       1.首先,導(dǎo)師需要給學(xué)生講解一下論文的選題,內(nèi)容等,讓學(xué)員對論文的要求有個基本介紹.當(dāng)然,information pack里的內(nèi)容介紹的已經(jīng)很詳細了，需要讓學(xué)員仔細閱讀information pack.同時，要讓學(xué)員對自己完成論文的進度做一個估算。

       2.其次，充分利用學(xué)員跟導(dǎo)師的見面。牛津布魯斯大學(xué)要求導(dǎo)師在OBU的輔導(dǎo)中需要跟學(xué)生有3次見面，每次半小時。但學(xué)員的水平各異，對于基礎(chǔ)差的學(xué)員，我可能要輔導(dǎo)更多次，甚至10次。方式也可以多樣化，比如：電郵，電話，微信，聊天工具等。每次的輔導(dǎo)過程都要充分利用，提前閱讀好學(xué)員論文，要對學(xué)員的寫作問題提出建議，但導(dǎo)師只是起到輔助的作用，導(dǎo)師不能代替學(xué)員寫。

       3.最后，要利用好presentation的時間。根據(jù)要求，學(xué)員在第3次見面時需要給導(dǎo)師做個15分鐘presentation.導(dǎo)師要讓學(xué)員充分準(zhǔn)備這個，因為通過presentation,學(xué)員能自己意識到自己論文中的問題，并且可以利用這個機會，能跟導(dǎo)師進一步討論論文的內(nèi)容。
