ACCA ANNOUNCES GLASGOW OFFICE RELOCATION TO CENTRAL GLASGOW

ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) announces today that it has signed leases with RREEF Investment GmbH (‘RREEF’) to move into space over three floors at 110 Queen Street in central Glasgow.

ACCA has over 600 people working at its Glasgow offices at 2 Central Quay and 138 Hyde Park Street. The relocation will happen later in the year, planned for late Autumn 2016.

Commenting on the move, Helen Brand OBE, ACCA’s Chief Executive says:

“Moving into the Queen Street location is an exciting step in ACCA’s continuing growth as an international organisation. The space at 110 is seen as the closest to our requirements, with an excellent fit for efficiency and effective use of space. It also provides a great city centre location with excellent transport links, which will be attractive to our staff and our visitors.

“ACCA’s operations have a proud history in Scotland, going back to the 1970s, so we have a strong brand presence in the City. Since that time, we have grown our workforce in Glasgow to create an operational centre that covers Exam Delivery, HR, IT, Finance and ACCA’s 24 / 7 and 365 global customer service centre – ACCA Connect.

“We believe this move is a major endorsement for Glasgow - that it has the skills to support a growing international organisation. The relocation strengthens our position as a quality employer, and we also believe this new Glasgow home will give ACCA a dynamic, inspiring and sustainable place to work, in the heart of a thriving and dynamic City centre.”
